There
are many qualities common to women -- wisdom, power, intuition, creativity,
strength, passion, and connection to self, others, spirit, and nature.
Unfortunately, we often do not recognize and celebrate our wonderful gifts
and abilities. This is due to our constantly being bombarded by direct
and indirect messages that tell us that our worth depends on how we look
rather than who we are. In addition, we get so caught up in heavy work
and home demands, financial pressures, media blasting, and the fear of
being violated that we often lose ourselves.
Now for the good news -- we can recognize our gifts and talents and regain our true selves. I work with women individually and in groups to support you as you reclaim your power, appreciate your wisdom, regain your sense of self, and enhance your connection to one another. I provide a safe place to just be and become; a place where there is nothing to prove; a place where things are quieter and where there is an opportunity to listen to your own voice and to the voices of other women; a place where you can experience the sacredness of being a woman and being there for other women. I use Judith Duerk's books, Circle of Stones and I Sit Listening to the Wind in groups to help women connect with their sacred inner selves and with other women. |
